POSITION SUMMARY:
BUILDING LEVEL TECHNICIAN - High School Auxiliary Level III
WORK SCHEDULE:
Variable hours based on location, with a total of 199 work days or 207 days including paid holidays, averaging 29 hours per week.
EVALUATION:
Performance review after an initial 90-day period, followed by ongoing evaluations.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Building Level Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of educational facilities. This role encompasses a variety of technical support tasks aimed at enhancing the learning environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Conduct regular inspections of school facilities to identify maintenance needs.
2. Perform repairs and maintenance on building systems and equipment.
3. Collaborate with school administration to address technical issues promptly.
4. Assist in the setup and support of technology used in educational settings.
5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical skills in building maintenance and repair.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
