Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for assessing patients' medical conditions, functional capabilities, and potential for rehabilitation. You will establish and administer treatment programs, set realistic goals, and document patients' progress. Additionally, you will oversee and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and collaborate with other disciplines to provide best patient-centered treatment and care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' medical conditions, functional capabilities, and potential for rehabilitation
  • Establish and administer treatment programs with specific goals
  • Set realistic and achievable goals for patients
  • Document and record patients' condition and progress
  • Oversee and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to provide best patient-centered treatment and care
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy college or university
  • Valid professional license and registration for the state of NY
  • Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care preferred
  • Well-versed in documentation writing and electronic medical records
  • Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence
