Physical Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Potomac Healthcare Solutions. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to our patients at Langley Air Force Base.
Key Responsibilities- Provide therapeutic procedures and a full range of therapy services in support of patient referrals from various specialties.
- Develop realistic and documented treatment goals that comply with and satisfy the intent of the referring medical staff.
- Administer treatments involving application of physical agents, using equipment such as game ready, blood flow restriction units, mechanical traction, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound machines.
- Instruct patients and families in treatment procedures to be continued at home.
- Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices and recommend modification as required.
- Provide documented treatment and discharge recommendations to members of the staff in routine, emergency, and special cases as needed.
- Provide clinical direction to assistants, technicians, aides, students, etc.
- Participate in peer review activities.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (preferred) OR Master's degree in physical therapy for graduates prior to January 1, 2016 OR Baccalaureate degree in physical therapy for graduates prior to January 1, 2002.
- Provide proof of professional development through continuing education within the last twenty-four (24) months.
- Possess a minimum of one (1) year experience as an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist within the preceding two (2) years OR have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program within the preceding year.
- Active licensed as a Physical Therapist.
- Must be a US Citizen.
