Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing MRI examinations and producing high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all MRI techniques and examinations according to established procedures and protocols.
  • Produce optimal MRI images for diagnostic interpretation.
  • Select proper protocol, technical factors, coils, positioning devices, and study-specific MRI equipment as directed.
  • Provide protection in accordance with prescribed MR safety standards to ensure the well-being of patients, hospital personnel, and the general public.
  • Identify and archive patient images, maintain records of exams, and ensure proper identification on images.
  • Document all related data and maintain accurate records of examinations and MRI procedure logs.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the attainment of departmental and hospital goals.
Requirements
  • Current certification as an MRI Technologist (MR) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from an organization that requires a hands-on instructor-led psychomotor skills verification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical diploma in radiology or MRI preferred.
  • At least two years of work experience and/or training in a CHOP-affiliated program required; pediatric experience preferred.
