Key Responsibilities- Plan, Implement, and Evaluate Patient Care: Develop and implement plans to optimize patient outcomes and maximize available resources.
- Monitor and Record Patient Condition: Continuously monitor and record patient condition, communicating effectively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Educate Patients and Families: Evaluate learning needs of patients and families, providing education and support to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Delegate Patient Care: Effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel, ensuring seamless delivery of care.
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program: Possess a graduate degree from an accredited or state-approved nursing program.
- State Licensure as a Registered Nurse: Hold a valid state license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- 6 Months of Nursing Experience: Possess at least 6 months of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification: Obtain ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certification within 6 months of hire for new hires and 1 year for new graduates.
- BLS Certification: Hold a valid BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
