Position Details:
Department: Clinical Services
Schedule: Per diem; minimum 2 days per week, including one weekend day. Standard shifts are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with potential holiday rotations.

Impact of the Role: The IVF Nurse Coordinator (RN) is instrumental in the fertility treatment process, ensuring patients receive comprehensive care and support. This role is pivotal in assisting patients as they navigate the complexities of fertility treatments, aiming for optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories and reproductive health to ensure accurate data entry in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Collaborate with physicians to develop tailored treatment plans for each patient.
- Educate patients on the IVF process, including procedures, medications, and lifestyle factors that may influence treatment success.
- Provide emotional support and counseling throughout the patient's journey.
- Guide patients in self-administering medications and monitor their progress, adjusting dosages as necessary.
- Coordinate scheduling for surgeries, appointments, and diagnostic tests, ensuring all necessary consents are obtained.
- Monitor pregnancies via ultrasonography and lab tests during the early stages.
- Act as a liaison between patients and the medical team, ensuring clear communication of vital information.
- Advocate for patients, considering their needs and preferences in care decisions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR.
- Discuss treatment results with patients, exploring alternative options when necessary.
- Perform intrauterine inseminations as directed.
- Ensure all communicable disease testing is completed accurately.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current State Registered Nurse (RN) license without limitations.
- Active Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Preferred: 3+ years of RN experience and 2+ years in women's health, fertility, or OB/GYN.
Working Environment: This position operates in a professional office and clinical setting, requiring standard office equipment usage. The role involves regular communication with others and may require sitting, standing, or walking, along with the ability to perform tasks that require visual acuity.
Compensation: The salary range reflects the national average for this position, with variations based on location, experience, and skills. Total compensation may include bonuses and flexible work arrangements.
