Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Ambassador to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our customers, driving sales growth, and promoting our exclusive products and offerings.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to provide tailored solutions.
- Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and culinary innovations to provide expert advice and guidance to customers.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate customers on our products and services.
- Work closely with the Regional Culinary Manager to develop and execute culinary vision and strategy.
- Participate in local, virtual, and national events to promote the Food Fanatics program and build relationships with customers and peers.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience, including a comprehensive culinary background.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages and delivery to different audiences.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to assert leadership abilities in planning and execution of high-visibility events and communication campaigns.
- Chef certification and membership in local and national culinary organizations.
- Prior sales or sales support experience.
- Experience in designing and facilitating training programs for large and varied audiences.
