As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you will conduct physical and psychological assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide adaptive equipment to help patients with daily activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Conducting physical and psychological assessments of patients
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans to help patients regain lost skills
  • Advising patients on adaptive equipment to aid with daily activities
  • Preparing patients for a return to work
  • Educating caregivers and family members on patient care
  • Evaluating patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in Occupational Therapy from a university certified by the ACOTE or AOTA
  • Certified by the National Board for Certification
  • Valid/Current State of California Occupational Therapy license
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Ability to take care of patients with different personalities
  • Ability to assess patient condition and work with treatment plans
