Job Title: Registered Behavior Therapist

Job Summary:

Step Ahead ABA is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Behavior Therapist to join our team. As a Registered Behavior Therapist, you will be responsible for implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to clients in their homes and community environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in their homes and community environments.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and programs as written by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Collect and submit data and session notes according to company policy.
  • Collaborate with peers and supervisors to ensure high-quality services.
  • Participate in regular staff meetings and trainings to stay up-to-date on best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • RBT Certification or Equivalent: It is the employee's responsibility to maintain an active RBT certification. Employees whose certification lapses will undergo an immediate removal from client cases until an active status is obtained.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Exemplary and dedicated work ethic.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Work Environment:

This position provides in-home services, which includes respecting the client's home and leaving program materials in the home.

Physical Demands:

  • Sitting for an extended period of time.
  • Playing with the client.
  • May involve lifting the client.
  • May involve running after the client.

Policies and Procedures:

As a Step Ahead ABA employee, you will be expected to abide by our rules and standards, including signing an acknowledgement that you have read and understand our rules of conduct.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred experience working in another ABA practice.

Employment Classification and Hours:

This is a variable employee, non-exempt position. Variable employees are not guaranteed a minimum number of hours. If a variable employee does not engage with a client for a duration of 3 months, Step Ahead ABA has the right to terminate employment.
