About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Specialist Technician to join our team at Evergreen Fire and Security. As a Security Specialist Technician, you will be responsible for installing, testing, repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various electronic security systems and network infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, test, and maintain security projects
  • Provide top-notch service and product training to customers onsite
  • Ensure safety through compliance with relevant State and Federal regulations
  • Collaborate with in-house teams to improve installations
  • Read and comprehend blueprints, project instructions, and company forms
  • Install conduit as necessary
  • Travel as required
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Complete all other duties assigned within qualifications

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience maintaining ESS systems
  • Must have field experience installing and servicing systems to include programming and network connectivity
  • Great customer service skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • A positive attitude
  • Possesses a Secret Clearance
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background, and driving history)
  • Effective when working solo and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working on government contracts or military bases
  • OSHA 30 Certificate
  • CPR/First Aid Card
  • CCTV experience
  • Burial line knowledge
  • Troubleshooting knowledge

Pay Range: $25 - $35 per hour for well-qualified candidates.
