Job Summary

Kautex, a subsidiary of Textron Inc., is a leading global supplier of hybrid and conventional plastic fuel tank systems, selective catalytic reduction systems (SCR), and clear vision systems and sensors. The company also produces and supplies camshafts, castings, and industrial packaging.

Key Responsibilities

Provide support to the maintenance department in equipment troubleshooting to reduce / eliminate downtime
Provide engineering support to plant operations
Design, inspect, and repair equipment
Create and implement equipment maintenance schedules
Research and implement opportunities to make processes more efficient
Quantify performance and improvement opportunities
Improve overall equipment effectiveness
Specify and oversee work of outside contractors
Document equipment operations and parameters

Requirements

Technical education (Degree in Engineering or comparable) required
Relevant technical knowledge of your defined functional area
Knowledge in defining process equipment & technologies
Product design knowledge a plus
Knowledge in Six Sigma and Quality Management Tools a plus
Microsoft Office product knowledge required
CAD/Solidworks knowledge required
