The Kettering Health Network is seeking a dedicated Clinical Oncology Pharmacy Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to oncology patients across our various locations.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with oncology providers and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Coordinate pharmacy services in alignment with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Conduct thorough therapeutic monitoring and patient assessments, including lab value interpretation.
- Provide expert advice on medication selection and dosing based on clinical guidelines.
- Perform accurate and timely computer order entries and medication profile reviews.
- Identify the need for additional testing to support therapeutic decisions.
- Assist in transitioning inpatient treatment regimens to outpatient protocols as required.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with physicians on projects.
- Participate in the education and training of pharmacy students and residents.
- Support pharmacy operations by adhering to safety and compounding guidelines.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess a current pharmacy license in Ohio and maintain continuing education as mandated by law. A degree from an accredited pharmacy college is required, along with relevant experience in oncology pharmacy practice.
