Job Description

Warehouse Worker/Temporary Cover Driver

At United Parcel Service, we're looking for a skilled Warehouse Worker/Temporary Cover Driver to join our team. As a Warehouse Worker/Temporary Cover Driver, you'll be responsible for working inside as a warehouse worker and driving our familiar brown trucks when needed. You'll be a friendly, physically active crew who enjoy being outdoors, fast-paced work, and being behind the wheel.

Responsibilities

  • Work 8 – 10 hours each day (Monday through Friday) or (Tuesday – Saturday)
  • Have excellent customer contact and driving skills

Warehouse Worker Responsibilities

  • Typically work 3 1⁄2 - 5 hours each day (Monday through Friday) or (Tuesday-Saturday)
  • Be required to work your assigned shift (based on operational needs)

Requirements

  • The ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Stamina – this is a workout like no other
  • Valid driver's license—no CDL required (Type varies by State)
  • Pass the DOT physical
  • Excellent customer contact and driving skills
  • Legal right to work in the U.S.
  • Package Delivery Drivers are expected to comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform
