The RoleWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Alsana. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with the Nurse Manager to oversee daily client services and ensure the highest level of care.
Responsibilities- Assess client health and well-being on a daily basis, reporting concerns to the physician and documenting findings and interventions.
- Communicate nursing and care plan information to direct care staff, ensuring seamless hand-off communication.
- Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to client care plans.
- Develop and maintain client treatment plans, participating in client education and leading groups as assigned.
- Audit and monitor controlled substances, recording information and monitoring medication management for step-down clients.
- Serve as a liaison between physicians and clients, answering questions about medication changes, appointments, and health-related issues.
- Licensed RN in the state of employment, BSN preferred.
- Two or more years of experience in acute care or skilled nursing settings, with current CPR certification through an American Heart Association-approved agency.
- Previous experience in behavioral health settings is a plus.
A competitive hourly rate of $40.00 and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.
