About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the quality and appearance of our residential properties, while providing exceptional customer service.

The estimated salary range for this position is $58,000 - $78,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes health, vision, dental, and 401k with a strong match.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the quality and appearance of our residential properties, including routine maintenance tasks such as painting, repairing damaged walls, and replacing lights.
  • Repair and/or replace windows, latches, screens, hinges, sliding glass doors, shelves, smoke alarms, baseboards, mirrors, closet doors, ceiling fans, mini blinds, faucets, sink plugs, washers, holes in the walls, and hangs drapes.
  • Repair all appliances and report problems to Maintenance Supervisor or General Manager.
  • Monitor and change locks and make keys as necessary.
  • Perform repairs to sinks and bathtubs, and minor repairs and replacement of bathroom tile.

Requirements:
  • Solid teamwork skills with flexibility to adjust to changing project requirements and deadlines.
  • Ability to anticipate maintenance needs of property.
  • Must be able to climb stairs on regular basis.
  • Must be available to assist with after-hours emergency situations.
  • Must be reliable and present a positive, professional image.
  • Ability to keep sensitive information highly confidential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to take initiative, use good judgment, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail, and carry multiple projects through to completion.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize work and ask for further clarification when necessary.
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight time constraints, as well as the ability to deal with frequent interruptions, unresolved situations, frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Ability to lift/move 25 lbs. regularly and 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Possible exposure to changing weather conditions and chemical fumes.
