Key Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will carry out clinical responsibilities as directed by the leadership team, ensuring high-quality patient care.
The RN will exhibit leadership qualities in delivering nursing services and act as a role model when designated as team leader or charge nurse under the supervision of the Nurse Manager.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Executing nursing orders promptly and accurately for patients with intricate care requirements.
- Carrying out physician's directives efficiently, addressing any barriers that arise.
- Involving patients, families, and healthcare providers in setting achievable, measurable health education and treatment goals.
- Meeting individual learning and discharge needs by utilizing appropriate resources and educational materials.
- Documenting the nursing process, including patient education and discharge planning, in a timely manner.
- Assessing and documenting patient responses to interventions, anticipating changes in condition, and adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Continuously updating assessments based on evolving patient needs and care priorities.
- Demonstrating proficiency in the nursing process for patients with complex care needs.
- Guiding and directing care provided by others.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Conducting self-assessments and identifying personal learning needs.
- Implementing a professional development plan.
- Collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Utilizing research to inform and enhance professional practice.
- Delegating care safely and efficiently.
- Assisting patients in accessing necessary services.
- Performing all other duties as required by patient care.

Preferred Experience:
- Med-Surg/Telemetry experience
- ACLS/BLS certification

- IV and venipuncture skills
- Knowledge of telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Physical Requirements:
This position requires visual acuity, keen hearing, clear speech, and manual dexterity. The role may involve prolonged periods of walking, standing, and transferring patients.
Exposure to infectious patients and contaminated materials may occur, necessitating the use of protective clothing in specific situations.
