Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist to join our team as a Travel Mammography Technologist. As a Travel Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing mammography procedures in a variety of settings, including hospitals and imaging centers.

Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain mammography equipment, including digital mammography systems and breast biopsy equipment.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of breast anatomy and pathology to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication, including explaining procedures and results to patients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest mammography technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Mammography.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
