Process Engineer Technician

**Job Summary**

CSL Plasma is seeking a skilled Process Engineer Technician to join our team. As a Process Engineer Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely sampling, testing, shipping, and storage of plasma collected from donors.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality.
  • Ensure plasma units are properly stored according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Verify the accuracy of unit labeling by matching the pre-printed label with the dynamic label.
  • Utilize sterile technique to draw samples and ensure the sterility and quality of plasma unit samples per SOPs.
  • Pack and ship samples and units in accordance with SOPs and center procedures.
  • Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct daily calibration of equipment according to SOPs.
  • Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.

**Requirements**

  • Bilingual skills may be required to meet the needs of the business.
  • Must be able to see and speak with customers and observe equipment operation.
  • Frequently exposed to hazardous chemicals, extreme temperatures, and blood-borne pathogens.
