As a Quality Assurance Automation Specialist, you will ensure that our software products meet rigorous quality standards by conducting research, consulting, and executing testing processes while utilizing automation tools to assess overall product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop test cases and scripts using tools such as Selenium and Java, focusing on various testing types including positive, negative, integration, and performance/stress testing.
- Create comprehensive test scenarios and strategies to guarantee high-quality application delivery.
- Collaborate with Product and Development Managers to determine sprint scope based on QA resource availability and project priorities.
- Coordinate with Development and DevOps teams regarding the timing of QA release deployments.
- Maintain QA documentation and artifacts.
- Design and implement automation testing strategies and processes.
- Oversee test environment setup, including application installation, test data preparation, and asset management.
- Manage QA deliverables and provide status reports.
- Conduct peer reviews of test scripts and results.
- Provide constructive feedback to Product and Development Managers regarding overall product quality.
Professional Experience/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of three to five years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Over 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance.
- At least 4 years of experience in QA Automation utilizing Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Maven, and TestNG.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with SaaS products.
- Proficient in SQL with the ability to create scripts for data retrieval.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Experience in REST API testing and automation.
- Strong critical thinking and multitasking abilities.
- General programming knowledge and experience.
- Capability to develop detailed test cases based on software/hardware modifications.
- Ability to execute and assess results of detailed test cases.
- Quick learner of new technologies and business concepts.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with automated testing tools is essential.
- Familiarity with Agile Development methodologies is advantageous.
- QA certification is a plus.
