We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Betsy Ross Nursing & Rehab Center. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Provide daily support to the unit leadership and respond promptly to resident and family needs within the LPN scope of practice.
- Use the nursing process, judgment, and skills to set priorities and deliver quality direct resident care, making decisions that promote the safety and quality of care.
- Perform and administer standard nursing treatments and medications, observing residents for desired or unwanted effects.
- Communicate and collaborate with the care team to revise and update the Nursing Care Plan or any pertinent findings, including lab and test results, incidents, and concerns.
- Monitor and document vitals, treatments administered, and residents' responses.
- Prepare, organize, oversee, monitor, and evaluate the delivery of care for resident CNA assignments and activities, considering the category of needs and competency of personnel.
- Graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
- Current license in good standing in New York as an Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN.
- Dedicated to providing extraordinary, clinically sound, and compassionate care.
- Must possess a spirit of cooperation, caring, and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation and optimal resident health.
- Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, elderly, and sometimes challenging residents.
- Have excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills.
- Work well under pressure and willing to work harmoniously with all staff.
- Excellent Aetna Health benefits, effective the 1st of the month after hire date.
- Up to $2,500 sign-on bonus for evening shift only.
- Full-time and part-time positions available, with every other weekend required.
- Per diem opportunities.
