Job OverviewRiverside Ford in Tulsa, OK is seeking a highly skilled Service Advisor to join their team. With experience preferred, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
As a Service Advisor, you will act as a liaison between customers and service technicians, ensuring seamless interactions and exceptional customer experiences. Your role will include:
- Assessing automotive problems and services by listening to customer descriptions and clarifying issues.
- Verifying warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and explaining provisions.
- Developing estimates by costing materials and labor, calculating customer payments, and including deductibles.
- Preparing repair orders by describing symptoms, problems, and required repairs, obtaining approval signatures, and entering RO into the service database system.
- Maintaining customer rapport by explaining estimates, answering questions, and arranging towing and temporary transportation.
- Maintaining automotive records by recording problems and corrective actions planned.
- Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to answer technical questions regarding vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and new models, based on technical service bulletins.
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers throughout the repair process.
$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
