Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Trinity Hospital. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.

Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Blood Banking, Clinical Microscopy, and Immunology according to the assigned area.
  • May include some phlebotomy duties.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely test results.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure laboratory accuracy and reliability.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with new technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • ASCP or AMT certification.
  • ND State license - 4 weeks to obtain, must have by start.
  • BS in Medical Laboratory Science.
  • Official diploma or transcript from the school/university where the degree was received.
  • Clinical internship experience.
Work Schedule

Every third weekend, Friday and Saturday nights, 12-hour shift, 6p-6:30a.

Additional Requirements
  • Physical exam required within 1 year of start.
  • Fit test required within 1 year of start.
  • Negative TB or chest X-ray as per requirements.
  • Hepatitis B evidence (titer, series, or declination).
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen required within 30 days of start.
  • Seasonal influenza vaccine or declination.
  • COVID vaccination or medical/religious exemption (optional).
