Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tailor Seamstress to join our team at Buckle. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality alterations on merchandise to meet the expectations of our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality alterations on merchandise using Buckle-provided sewing machines and supplies.
  • Meet deadlines and guest expectations for merchandise alterations.
  • Uphold specified productivity guidelines, including four jean alterations per hour.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked work area.
  • Communicate any policy violations to Store Manager, District Manager, and/or Human Resources in a timely and confidential manner.
  • Provide feedback to Store Manager, Assistant Manager, and Floor Leaders regarding merchandise handling concerns.
  • Understand and apply Buckle's Code of Ethics and all Buckle policies, procedures, and handbook.
Requirements
  • One to three months of related sewing, fitting, and alteration experience and/or training.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
