Speech Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at PEOPLE INC. as a key member of our clinical rehabilitation department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality speech-language pathology services to individuals with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. This includes assessing and treating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' needs
• Provide direct and consultative services to patients, families, and caregivers
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Conduct training and education sessions for staff and caregivers on speech-language pathology topics
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment plans

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current licensure and registration to practice Speech-Language Pathology in New York State
• ASHA certification and NYS licensure with continuing education requirements

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care.
