Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Cynet Health. As a key member of our cardiac catheterization laboratory team, you will provide technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures and deliver patient care under RN supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
- Deliver patient care under RN supervision.
- Assist physicians with radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures.
- Act as a scrub assistant, maintaining sterile conditions.
- Operate imaging equipment, monitor, and document procedure images and events in the control room.
- Educate patients and families about procedures and expectations.
- Teach patients and families about pre and postprocedure physical conditions.
- Maintain order and cleanliness of the unit.
- Ensure appropriate stock levels for interventions and diagnostic procedures.
- Complete daily, progress, and discharge documentation according to departmental standards.
- Accurately document productivity information.
- Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives.
- Identify areas for improvement, including processes that can be streamlined for better patient satisfaction.
- Identify and address potential safety hazards for patients and staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) years in Cardiology/Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered ARRT or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (RCIS) within 18 months of hire.
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
- Fluoroscopy Certification.
- Radiation badges supplied by vendor.
Guaranteed Hours:40.00 Hours per Week
Shift:Day 10 5x8 Hr
Job Duration:14 Weeks
