Join our team as a Healthcare Nutritionist and play a vital role in shaping the health and well-being of patients/residents at St. Gertrude's Senior Living in Shakopee, Minnesota. As a Registered Dietitian, you will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to identify and assess the nutritional needs of patients/residents, develop effective interventions to achieve and maintain optimal nutrition status, and enhance overall quality of life consistent with patient/resident goals.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide expert nutritional guidance to the healthcare team, educating patients/residents, staff, or consultants on various aspects of nutrition and dietetics.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve patient/resident outcomes related to nutrition and dietetics.
• Participate in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completed 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years, in accordance with the CDR, utilizing the professional portfolio development process.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents' rights.
• Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

Compensation Package:

• Competitive salary range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
