Judit Inc is seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced outpatient family practice setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare examination rooms for patient visits, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
  • Assist with patient check-ins, admissions, discharges, and transfers, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with healthcare providers.
  • Take vital signs, including temperature, respiration, pulse, weight, blood pressure, and pulse oximeter reading, and document patient information accurately.
  • Obtain and document patient medical history, drug history, chief complaints, allergies, and vital signs on the correct form.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures as ordered by healthcare providers, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain examination room stock levels and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Complete lab and x-ray requisitions in accordance with clinic policies, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Enter demographic data into the computer system upon patient check-in, and update diagnosis and departing time when patients are released.
Requirements
  • Certificate from a medical assistant training program accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
  • Current certification as a medical assistant by the American Association of Medical Assistants or registration by the American Medical Technologists.
  • Minimum of one year of full-time experience in the last 3 years as a CMA in an outpatient family practice or primary care setting.
  • Two letters of recommendation from practicing providers, supervisors, or program administrators attesting to professional skills, competencies, patient rapport, etc.
Work Schedule

The performance hours of the MTF are as follows: Family Medicine Clinic: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. Recognized Holidays: Contract HCWs will not be required to work on federally recognized holidays.

Compensation

$18 / hour
