Salary and BenefitsThe estimated hourly rate for this role is $20.50, with competitive benefits, unique incentive programs, and rewards for eligible employees. Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities- Picks product from fulfillment center stock according to wave pick list and organizes on cart;
- Pulls warehouse items from shelves based on number, size, color, quantity, and quality requirements;
- Operates scanners to ensure proper order picking and accurate inventory management;
- Verifies item picked matches invoice by comparing manufacturer name, item number, and description;
- Verifies quantity of items picked matches invoice quantity;
- Checks expiration date on time-sensitive items for shipment to customers;
- Verifies all items listed on invoice have been picked;
- Checks components for items with multiple parts;
- Counts items and verifies count to invoice quantity;
- Matches shipping label address or invoice number with information on invoice;
- Selects correct packaging, fill, and labels;
- Fulfills regulatory guidelines for packing regulated items;
- Creates shipping papers for hazardous materials packages;
- Weighs packages, determines transportation method, verifies labeling, scans information, and applies shipping labels for non-auto-manifested packages;
- Verifies and corrects non-conforming packages for auto-manifested packages;
- Processes orders requiring special handling as required by branch personnel, sales staff, or end-users.
- High school diploma or GED preferred;
- Able to read, write, and count;
- Comprehensive problem-solving skills;
- Able to meet deadlines and productivity goals;
- Moving 75% of the time;
- Frequently grasp, reach, bend, and stoop in narrow/confined spaces;
- Exposure to dust;
