Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Corn Quality Inspector. This position involves critical tasks in ensuring the quality of corn products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring: Observe corn as it moves along a conveyor system. Please be aware that prolonged observation of moving machinery may lead to discomfort.
  • Physical Requirements: Employees may be required to stand on ergonomic mats or sit on stools during their shifts.
  • Quality Control: Identify and remove defective products from the conveyor line.
  • Processing: Assist in the husking of corn and ensure that non-corn materials are discarded appropriately.
  • Mobility: Employees must be capable of navigating stairs and may need to stand for extended periods.
Work Environment

The facility operates in a non-climate-controlled setting, which may result in elevated temperatures and dust exposure.

Dress Code

Employees are expected to wear jeans and a t-shirt without holes, along with steel-toed footwear.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position is $17, with eligibility for a $500 attendance bonus.

Shift Details
  • Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
  • Training: Initial training may occur during different hours.
  • Availability: Candidates should be prepared to work six days a week, with the possibility of rotating days off.
Contract Duration

This position is available for a limited time, with potential for transition to a permanent role based on performance.
