Cardiac Anesthesiology Physician Opportunity

Fairview Health Services is seeking a skilled Cardiac Anesthesiology physician to join a dynamic team at M Health Fairview St. John's Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac and general surgical procedures.

Practice Details:
  • Collaborate with a team of 11 cardiac and 8 general anesthesiologists, along with a team of employed CRNAs.
  • Enjoy a diverse case mix, including cardiac, general surgical, robotics, spine, and orthopedic procedures.
  • Annual general case volume of 7,000+, with 270 cardiac surgeries in 2023 and over 300 projected for 2024.
  • Work in a hospital with 184 beds, 20-bed ICU, Short Stay Unit, Level 3A NICU, Busy OB practice, high-volume ED, Interventional Radiology, MRI, and CT.
  • Participate in a call schedule supported by a core team of CRNAs covering 24/7.
  • Be part of a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) system.
  • Join a Pioneer Accountable Care Organization (ACO) using a multidisciplinary team approach in managing clinical care.
  • H1B Visa accepted.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • $600,000 annual salary.
  • $100,000 signing bonus.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Anesthesiology residency training program.
  • BC/BE with the ABMS.
  • Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
  • Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
  • Fellowship training.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience is preferred.
