About the Job

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Medical Surgical Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As an RN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a culture of excellence within our organization.

Job Summary

This is a full-time night shift position, working every other weekend and at least one summer and winter holiday per year. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families. Your exceptional nursing skills, combined with your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively, make you an ideal candidate for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized patient care based on assessment, plan of care, and evidence-based practice guidelines
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and achieve positive outcomes
  • Develop and implement effective education plans for patients and their families
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire - if practicing within this state
  • 1 year Nursing experience
