School Nurse Position

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Port Jeff Station School. As a member of our school nursing team, you will provide high-quality patient care to students, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities- Provide individualized patient care to students, including physical exams, health histories, and medication administration.
- Utilize electronic medical records to document patient care and communicate with healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure students receive comprehensive care.
- Develop and implement health education programs to promote student well-being and health literacy.
- Participate in school-wide health initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive school culture.
- NYS LPN License + Registration
- BLS Card
- 1 year of pediatric nursing experience required
- Ability to lift 50lbs and stand/work for extended periods
