About the Role
This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment, providing comprehensive therapeutic services to children and adolescents in San Ysidro School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering individual, family, and group therapy, case management, crisis intervention, and linkage to community resources, while adhering to agency and County client confidentiality policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide trauma-informed mental health services to SBCS' clients, including individual, family, and group therapy, case management, and crisis intervention.
- Conduct intakes, assessments, and treatment plans with clients, focusing on strengths-based approaches.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, individual supervision, and clinical group supervision to ensure seamless collaboration and professional growth.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to County and Agency standards for electronic health records (EHR) in required databases.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you must possess:
- A Master's degree with current BBS registration as an LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or AMFT, APCC, or ACSW.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in child, youth, and family services, preferably in a community-based or neighborhood service organization.
- Ability to work with diverse populations, maintain cultural sensitivity, and establish appropriate boundaries with clients.
- Experience working with CCBH/Cerner/SmartCare highly recommended, with fluent Spanish language skills preferred.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $100,000-$75,000 depending on qualifications and experience, plus competitive benefits, including generous vacation time, holidays, health, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, employee assistance program, discount programs, public service forgiveness loan, and excellent retirement plan with matching contributions.
