Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular Short Stay unit, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, promoting patient recovery and well-being.
- Assess patient conditions, diagnose health problems, and develop effective treatment plans to address their needs.
- Administer medications, perform medical procedures, and provide education to patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) with a minimum of 6 months of experience in a cardiovascular setting.
- Experience in cardiology, telemetry monitoring, and 12-lead EKG interpretation.
- Knowledge of arterial sheath management and post-procedure care.
