Automotive Alignment Specialist

About the Role
Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Alignment Specialist to join their team at one of their state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Greensboro, NC area.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tire mounting, balancing, and alignment, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Summary
The Automotive Alignment Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are properly aligned, with a focus on precision and attention to detail. This will involve using the latest equipment and technology to measure and adjust caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles, as well as completing any necessary state-mandated inspections and vehicle repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Align vehicles using the latest equipment and technology
- Perform state-mandated inspections and vehicle repairs as needed
- Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Provide excellent customer service and communication
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
Requirements
- 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires or any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
- State inspection license preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
