The Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing at the University of California, Irvine is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor. This is an exciting opportunity to join our faculty and contribute to the advancement of nursing education.
About the Role:
- Teach primarily in the DNP and DNP/NP programs
- Practice as a nurse practitioner in one of the SON faculty practice clinical sites
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement curriculum for clinical and didactic courses
- Mentor and supervise students in clinical practice
- Promote evidence-based practice in nursing education
Requirements:
- PhD, DNP, or EdD degree from an accredited institution
- An active and clear California registered nurse license
- An active and clear California nurse practitioner certification in family practice/lifespan or adult/geriatric primary care
- An active and clear California furnishing license
- National board certification from ANCC or AANPCB as a Family Practice/Lifespan nurse practitioner or Adult/Geriatric Primary Care nurse practitioner
