About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our team at Pantex. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in enhancing and optimizing our mission-critical systems through data analysis, design, development, and implementation of technical data solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data infrastructure to extract and organize data across internal and external enterprise systems utilizing tools such as Denodo or Talend.
  • Develop software design and development using various products and technologies in a full-stack role.
  • Perform data and code optimization, business process analysis, architecture, and design.
  • Use critical thinking to help maintain production operations, conduct system troubleshooting, and perform problem analysis.
  • Work closely with project stakeholders to scope, estimate, and provide overall technical leadership to develop and implement high-quality technology solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Typical relevant experience ranging from 3 to 7 years.
  • OR Master's degree: No experience.
  • Ten (10) or more years of education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirement for this posting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, or similar degree with at least 5 years of relevant progressive experience.
  • Demonstrated experience using tools such as Excel, Tableau, and programming languages (such as SQL, Python, and R) to perform analytics.
  • Knowledge of databases, data warehouses, business intelligence systems, and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence systems.
  • Knowledge required to perform data analytics that includes statistics, decision sciences, machine learning, reporting technologies, and/or predictive analysis.
  • Experience delivering effective communications, both written and oral.
