Coding Instructor

Job Title: Coding Teacher (Part Time)

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Director of Educational Development to design and deliver coding instructional sessions.
• Develop and implement lesson plans to teach coding languages such as Scratch, Blockly, Swift, and Python.
• Assist students in developing computer science and coding skills, with a focus on problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Maintain open communication with the Director of Educational Development to ensure alignment with educational goals.
• Model academic and social behaviors, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the educational mission of Concorde Education.

• Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds, academic profiles, and skill levels.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Demonstrate responsibility, a desire to help others, discretion, and flexibility.
• Knowledge and ability to instruct students in coding languages and robotics.
• Ability to collect and analyze data to drive future instruction.
• Ability to work independently, applying critical thinking skills and problem-solving to various situations.
• Must be able to instruct students of varying skill and experience levels in multiple programs based on interest and ability.

Qualifications: Must possess a bachelor's degree, teaching and/or tutoring experience, and extensive computer science and/or coding experience.
