Job Description:
- Work in an inpatient behavioral health facility specifically for children and adolescents, ages 3-17, with a focus on ages 12-17.
- Units are categorized into Pediatrics (ages 3-10/11), Tween Girls (ages 11-13/14), Adolescent Girls (ages 13/14-17), and Adolescent Boys (ages 12-17).
- Facility has 97 beds with an average daily census of 85-90 patients.
- Base staffing ratios are 3 staff members (1 nurse, 2 behavioral health techs) for every 14 patients, adjusting based on census and acuity.
- No 24/7 on-site providers, but there is always a psychiatric and medical provider available on-call.
- Flexible shift offerings available, with standard shifts starting at 7 AM (1st shift), 3 PM (2nd shift), and 11 AM. Shift lengths can vary to 8, 10, or 12 hours as needed.
- Openings are available for day and evening shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure patient and staff safety while providing compassionate psychiatric care for children and adolescents.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on mental health topics and coping strategies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
