We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Counsel to join our team at Draeger Safety, Inc. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in providing legal advice and guidance to our business operations.

• Provide Legal Guidance: Offer expert legal advice to our business teams on daily operations, strategic initiatives, and company projects, identifying and addressing legal and compliance issues proactively.
• Contract Management: Review, negotiate, draft, and amend contracts for the distribution, purchase, and sale of medical and safety products, government contracts, and product development contracts, as well as non-disclosure agreements.
• Litigation Support: Oversee outside counsel in litigation matters and perform research to draft memoranda on various legal issues.
• Risk Management: Identify legal risks and opportunities, advising business on mitigation strategies and opportunities for advancement through legal solutions.
• Compliance and Regulatory: Perform legal reviews of proposed advertisements and marketing materials, assist in developing and implementing company policies and procedures, and prepare in-house legal training programs.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with a team of corporate attorneys and specialists to achieve business objectives.

• Experience: 3-8 years of experience as an attorney in a law firm or as in-house legal counsel, practicing business/corporate law with a focus on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Knowledge and Skills: Outstanding organization, written and oral communication, and time management skills; ability to handle multiple tasks and attention to detail; experience in contract drafting and negotiation; strong presentation and negotiation skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Education and Certifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school; active Pennsylvania Law License required.
