Job Title: MRI Technologist

Nashville General Hospital is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using complex medical imaging equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating MRI scanners, accompanying contrast injectors, and patient monitoring devices. Additionally, they will perform patient care services relevant to imaging procedures, including IV access starts and contrast injection.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate complex medical imaging equipment, including MRI scanners and accompanying devices.
  • Remove and replace IVs and catheters in preparation for MRI procedures.
  • Explain the MRI process to patients and ensure they adhere to safety standards.
  • Position MRI equipment and patients to ensure the best image capture.
  • Monitor patients during scanning and maintain accurate patient records.
Requirements:
  • 6 months of experience in a related field.
  • Graduate of a two-year accredited radiography program (JCERT accredited preferred).
  • BLS certification required.
