Your expertise will be utilized to serve as a consultant on extremely complex and highly specialized engineering matters, conduct or direct all aspects of research on engineering projects, and oversee the preparation or review of proposals or reports of a complex nature. You will also be responsible for coordinating multiple projects with major impact on engineering operations and/or City infrastructure, presenting and defending proposals on major engineering projects to high level agency and/or City officials, and signing and sealing engineering and other official documents. In addition, you will be responsible for preparing and executing capital projects in accordance with BWT standards and applicable construction codes, tracking and updating information using the BWT's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) tracking program. To be eligible for this role, you must have four years of full-time, satisfactory experience in civil engineering work and a valid New York State Professional Engineer's License. A masters degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one year of the civil engineering experience required. The ideal candidate will have at least one year within the last three years of experience as a major contributor or a project leader on a complex project requiring additional and specific expertise in the disciplines needed to design or construct the project.
