Job Summary:

Hendricks Regional Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Athletic Trainer to join our Sports Medicine team. As an Athletic Trainer, you will play a critical role in providing top-notch care and support to our student-athletes, ensuring their safety and well-being on and off the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat injuries, providing first aid and making referrals as needed.
  • Develop and implement injury prevention and rehabilitation programs for student-athletes.
  • Collaborate with coaches, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide education and guidance to student-athletes, parents, and coaches on injury prevention and management.
  • Supervise and assist with the purchase and fitting of athletic equipment, including braces, bandages, and other assistive devices.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on athlete treatments and progress.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and certification requirements.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a CAATE-approved athletic training curriculum program or internship program.
  • Prefer one year of experience as an athletic trainer, but not essential.
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of Indiana.
  • National certification as an athletic trainer through the BOC, Inc.
  • Certified CPR.
