Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team at VCA Hamilton Animal Hospital. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our veterinarian team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Your mission will be to deliver an outstanding client experience, ensuring exceptional care for every patient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform physical examinations and patient assessments
  • Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical procedures
  • Prepare and assist with dentistry, radiology, and laboratory work
  • Administer medications and perform venipuncture
  • Provide compassionate care for hospitalized animals
Requirements
  • Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), or Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
