ABOUT THE ACCOUNTING TEAM

The Accounting team focuses on maintaining a comprehensive view of our operations and ensuring that our global processes function seamlessly. Whether it involves verifying the effectiveness of our internal controls or collaborating with other departments to implement improvements, we are motivated by teamwork and the desire to make a significant impact. YOUR ROLE

In this position, you will contribute to enhancing patient outcomes by:
  • Overseeing monthly closing processes, including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Proposing enhancements to processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborating with R&D and G&A partners to develop accrual journal entries for monthly closing activities.
  • Assisting with quarterly reviews and the annual audit process alongside external auditors.
  • Engaging in additional responsibilities and special projects as needed, including support for technical accounting matters.
QUALIFICATIONS

You are an ideal candidate if you possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role.
  • Experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • CPA certification or a demonstrated path towards obtaining it is advantageous.
  • Experience in public accounting is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Oracle software is preferred.
  • A keen attention to detail, quality, accuracy, and data integrity.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
