Job Summary: KPG Healthcare is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team as a Labor and Delivery Specialist. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Participate in emergency situations, such as code blues and obstetric emergencies.
- Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Minimum of two years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
