About the Role

As a Wound Care Specialist at Huntsville Hospital Health System, you will play a crucial role in providing expert wound treatment and care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assess patients' wound conditions, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions based on established guidelines and protocols.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' wound conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Implement evidence-based treatments and interventions
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and outcomes
  • Educate staff on wound care best practices and protocols
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
  • CWOCN certification (or willing to obtain)
  • Alabama licensure or multi-state license
  • Experience in wound care (preferably)
