Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist - CT Specialist to join our team at Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic imaging, with a focus on computed tomography (CT) scans. This role will involve performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT exams, and working closely with physicians and radiologists to ensure accurate and efficient imaging results.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform CT exams and other diagnostic imaging procedures as required
Collaborate with physicians and radiologists to ensure accurate and efficient imaging results
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques

Requirements:

Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
Certification from the State of California as a Radiologic Technologist
ARRT certification required, CT certification preferred
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist with CT experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
