At PsiQuantum, we are at the forefront of quantum computing technology, aiming to transform various sectors globally. We are currently looking for a skilled High-Speed Photonics Experimentalist to contribute to our innovative projects.

Role Overview:

  • Design and refine cutting-edge experimental methodologies and apparatus for high-speed photonics.
  • Develop and streamline automated testing frameworks to fulfill testing objectives and strategies.
  • Analyze and enhance photonic materials, devices, and circuits through rigorous experimentation.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to produce state-of-the-art photonic chips.
  • Guide and support junior team members in the field of photonics technology.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master's or Doctorate in a relevant scientific field.
  • Expertise in waveguide-based high-speed components and RF simulation methodologies.
  • Practical experience in optimizing tests, automation processes, and data interpretation.
  • Familiarity with high-speed photonics and electronic testing instruments.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python and Matlab.
  • Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving technical challenges.
  • Previous industry experience is advantageous.
