Physical Therapist Assistant

AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to provide direct and indirect services to students in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Special Education and be able to complete required paperwork.
Job Summary:We are looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting physical therapy evaluations, providing direct and indirect services to students, and offering consultation and support to staff members.
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify each student's specific strengths and challenges related to fine and gross motor development.
- Create individualized motor development plans for students based on assessment results.
- Provide one-on-one or small group interventions to improve fine and gross motor skills.
- Develop and implement sensory integration strategies for students with sensory needs.
- Support students with orthopedic needs by working with physical therapists and occupational therapists.
- Complete all essential paperwork to maintain strict adherence to District, State, and Federal regulations.
- Attend all mandatory Special Education meetings, including IEP, evaluation, and post-evaluation meetings.
- Participate in staff development training sessions.
- Licensed by the State of Oregon.
- Biennial licensure requirements by the Oregon Board of Physical Therapy (OBPT).
- Experience working in Special Education.
- Experience in completing required Special Education paperwork.
